Recently the foreign buyers are cancelling their order in RMG sector in Bangladesh. 'Multiline Textil GmbH' a leading German company recently has cancelled the order from Uttara Design & Fashion, Like Multiline many international RMG buyers are cancelling order from Bangladesh. This is really unexpected and unethical decision from the buyers of developed countries. If the foreign buyers continue this kind of practice it will bring devastating situation for garments workers in Bangladesh.
Garments workers will not get salary from the garments owner. Garments worker will simply lose their job. Garments owners are affected less than garments workers. Because simply they can declare themselves as a defaulter of bankruptcy. They have different source of income. But if a garment worker lose his job it is difficult to find a job.
